The Haerens Group is a fast-growing family business, active in high-tech fire and security doors, international museum installations and high-tech glass under the Eribel, Meyvaert and Haerens brands. Our team consists of more than 230 employees in 2 production sites in Belgium and various hubs abroad. We work in a challenging environment, constantly welcoming new colleagues due to acquisitions and expansions. To strengthen our ambitious HR team, we are looking for a M/F/X at our headquarters in Gent for the new role of HR Manager.

Responsibilities


Due to strong growth within our group, we are expanding our HR team with an HR manager and a second payroll officer. Together we build an ambitious and progressive HR policy. 

As an HR manager, you stand and go for an excellent HR policy. You support and advise on strategic and operational matters with a focus on people and organisation. 

Your focus:

  • Acting as a sparring partner and warm confidant for all employees on HR-related topics
  • Aligning HR strategy and processes with business objectives
  • Managing and optimising Comp & Ben for all business units at home and abroad
  • Optimisation of wage policy 
  • Management and optimisation of HR budgeting, reporting and analyses

Your profile

  • You fully recognize yourself in our core values: passionately committed, solution-driven, team, care
  • You have a Master degree, ideally in HR/Economics 
  • Several years of relevant work experience in a similar function
  • Experienced and skilled in "hard" and "soft" HR
  • Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in our "paritair comités" is an asset: 115, 124, 126 and 200
  • Experience in and talent for working in an SME in evolution
  • Good language skills: Dutch and English; French is a big plus
  • Communicative skills: constructive, clear, with an eye for the human aspect
  • Integrity and discretion
