London Science Museum

The museum and collection

The London Science Museum's Information Age gallery celebrates more than 200 years of innovation in information and communication technologies. It's the Science Museums biggest and most ambitious gallery to date. The exhibition covers the remarkable history of information and communication technologies over the past 200 years, from Marconi to the iPhone.

The gallery is nearly the size of a football pitch but with a raised oval walkway over the gallery and the intriguing layout, the exhibition succeeds in keeping the attention.

The assignment

We worked closely with Universal Design Studio and the Science Museum team to build large and exciting cases for this amazing space. Communication technology is the most significant evolution in our modern lives and has changed the way we all live. The gallery tells this important modern story and we are proud to have played a part.
