In October the museum's bold new vision will materialize as it reopens in a new facility in Nashville. It will be home to vast collections of artefacts in various permanent exhibitions. The museum was designed to maximize the visitor's engagement with the state's turbulent past. The galleries are designed for visitors to experience Tennessee's history as if they were walking through the different eras.
